Memory keepsakes use a collection of sentimental clothing or other fabrics to make a single quilt, stuffed animal or pillow. Special fabrics may include a t-shirt collection, button-up work shirts, sports jerseys, baby clothes, and more.

• Memory quilts are also known as bereavement quilts, t-shirt quilts, and keepsake quilts.
• Memory bears are also known as memorial bears, bereavement bears, and keepsake bears.
• Memory pillows are also known as t-shirt pillows, bereavement pillows and keepsake pillows.

Fill out an order form and ship it, along with your clothing items, to the address listed on the form.

• T-shirt Quilt - I recommend a minimum of 12 t-shirts for a quilt (or 16 pieces for a lap size baby clothes quilt); however, I can work with any number of items to design a quilt that fits your collection of memories.

• Memory Bear - If the item of clothing is large enough, like a t-shirt or a pair of pants, then one piece is all you need; however, I recommend using at least two pieces of clothing in contrasting colors or patterns. Three pieces are recommended for memory animals made with baby clothing.

• Memory Pillow - If the item of clothing is large enough, like an adult t-shirt or a baby blanket, then one piece is all you need. Two to three pieces are recommended for pillows made with children's clothing.

I block off 2 weeks on my calendar for each order, including orders with multiple projects. If you're on a deadline, please let me know.

I work with you to determine the best layout. If you already have a specific layout in mind, please let me know when you place your order (photos are helpful!); otherwise, I will present options to you via email or text once I have your project materials in hand.

Once your order is received, I will present to you several color and pattern combinations for you to select from based on the preferences listed on your order form.

• T-shirt Quilts - Standard batting is a low loft, 100% polyester fiber batting. Standard backing is a 60% cotton/40% polyester fabric in black, white, navy, or grey.

• Memory Bears - 100% polyester fiberfill.

• Memory Pillows - Standard pillow forms have a 100% polypropylene cover and are stuffed with 100% polyester fiberfill.

Yes. You would be responsible for the cost of shipping your materials to me. If your completed project also needs to be shipped, a flat-rate shipping fee of $22.80 will be added to the total cost of your order. This cost is based on shipping a single quilt via USPS Large Flat-rate box.

Local customers may schedule an in-person pick up or drop off for both materials and completed projects.
